Israel has increased the amount of recreational areas with "over 200 million trees in forests and woodlands covering over 300,000 acres".

This emblem is placed on the "Seventh Independence Day" stamp, issued in 1955. The seven-lamp candle stand is surrounded by olive branches, which are a constant reminder of Israel's desire for peace.

Many religions have worshiped at Mt. Carmel, througout the many centuries such as the following:​

​

  • The worship of Baal, during the reign of King Ahab, in Israel.

  • The Hellenistic age worshipped the god 'Zeus' at the mountain.

  • During the Roman age the mountain was considered "holy'' by the Jews.

  • In 1209, Catholic Christians established the Carmelites religion on Mount Carmel, as a place to take a vow, called the Catholic Religious Order.

  • In the 50's the Bab's built a shrine for the Babism religion, which is an Islamic sect distinctly different from the Muslim (Islamic religion).

  • Today, it is a spiritual place for the religious group, the Essence and the Druze religious community.

No, but they created the first practical drip irrigation system. This innovative invention is utilized within over 110 countries. It is also one of the ways they save water in the region.

Over 81 years? How?....
Before mass killings, during the Holocaust, over 2100 Jewish people were forced to leave Lithuania. There were 1200 that found refuge in US, Britian and Canada, while the remaining found a safe haven in Japan. In 1952, Japan and Israel officially formulated trade, and other partnerships for the past 70 years.
